Mio Uema is a Japanese actress and fashion model. She is currently represented by Top Coat. In 2010, Uema won the Gyarukon 2009 Grand Prix, a year-end contest put on by the magazine Weekly Young Jump to discover potential gravure idols from all over Japan. In spring of that year, she transferred from Office NOIR to Top Coat and adopted her current stage name, changing it from Rinko Uema. In 2011, she won the Special Jury Prize at the non-no Model 2011 Audition. In the February 2012 issue of non-no, she debuted as an exclusive “S-size” model.
